My apologies for answering your question so late! Thank you so much for your interest in what I'm writing currently. It's a story unlike anything I've previously attempted...I'm aiming for an adult crowd with this one, and it's definitely ambitious since it's a fantasy set in the real world...which is something I've never attempted before. My (very) high hope is that it will faintly resemble an Elizabeth Goudge book. :) I have no notion as to when it will be finished, but one can hope that it will be sooner rather than later!
Again, thank you for your interest! It means a lot.

Hullo, Liv ;)
Currently working on some stories for a project with my brother. If all goes according to plan, you'll hear more about it later on this year!

Hey there, Camilla! Thank you so very much for your compliments on my story. It's still shocking to me to think someone read and actually enjoyed it!
I've never explored writing anything other than fantasy. Fantasy is really what I know--it's what I read most, so naturally it's what I mostly want to write.
My favorite moment as an author was when I randomly met a co-workers daughter who was my age, and we got along really well...she suddenly said, "Your name is Clara Thompson? You wrote The Moon Master's Ball?" There's nothing more shocking or more fun than meeting a stranger who has read your story and liked it!
Coffee when I wake up, and lots of tea while I write!
One of my favorite writing quotes has got to be, "Every villain is a hero in his own mind." by Tom Hiddleston...that's a mindset I try to go by when writing nowadays!
So great to hear from you Camilla. And thanks for adding my story to a group! I'll check it out.

Hi Liv! Thanks for stopping by! Writer's block is something every writer struggles with, and each writer has a way to deal with it that's unique to them. As for me, I'll go ahead and pull out a book and read some fresh words that aren't my own for a while--sometimes I'll take a walk or make myself some tea. Sometimes this works immediately, sometimes it'll take a day or two for me to get through it, but the important thing to remember is NEVER STOP WRITING! :)
