Thanks for stopping by! Writer's block is something every writer struggles with, and each writer has a way to deal with it that's unique to them. As for me, I'll go ahead and pull out a book and read some fresh words that aren't my own for a while--sometimes I'll take a walk or make myself some tea. Sometimes this works immediately, sometimes it'll take a day or two for me to get through it, but the important thing to remember is NEVER STOP WRITING! :)(less)

THE TETHERED WORLD--Book Review

Sadie Larcen is more than content to lead a normal, introverted life with her loving family until her parents mysteriously disappear, and suddenly, nothing--not even the gnomes in her Aunt's garden--is what it seems. ~Ages ago I did a little interview with some random person named Heather Fitzgerald who wanted to be introduced to the blogging world. I was happy just to have some recognition on my Read more of this blog post »

Nothing at all.”

Give this girl the strength to fight.”

“Howl’s voice was presently heard shouting weakly, “Help me, someone! I’m dying from neglect up here!”
Diana Wynne Jones, Howl’s Moving Castle

“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.”
Albert Einstein

“If a man has to ask for your trust, it's a sure sign that you should not give it. Trust should be earned inherently, without any verbal demands. Trust is knowing a man's character, knowing truth, and relying on that character and truth even when the odds seem against you.”
Anne Elisabeth Stengl, Heartless

“He stopped and took my hand. "If we die, or if I die..."
He was speaking of dying, and I couldn't stop smiling.
In the dark he must not have noticed, because he said in a rush, "I must tell you that I love you, and if I live I will ask for your hand, but you needn't say anything now if it distresses you, and I might rather die without knowing that you don't love me if that's how you feel."
I tried to speak, but nothing came. I had gained courage during my adventures, but not for this.
"Addie?"
Too soft to hear, I whispered, "I do love you."
But he heard. He cupped his hand under my chin and tilted my face up so I had to meet his eyes. He was smiling too, with a smile as happy as mine. "Oh, Addie!" He leaned down to kiss me...”
Gail Carson Levine, The Two Princesses of Bamarre

“But no one except Lucy knew that as it circled the mast it had whispered to her, "Courage, dear heart," and the voice, she felt sure, was Aslan's, and with the voice a delicious smell breathed in her face.”
C.S. Lewis, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
