When I was 22 my mother went missing. It appeared she was making breakfast. Her purse was still on the table. No money was taken. It's like she just vanished. Which she did.
The FBI was looking, but so was I. I traveled all over the US in search of her.

I've written since I could string letters together. lol I can't recall a time when I wasn't writing something. I used to charge my friends and family 10 cents a story to make up stories about anything they could think of.
I completed my first novel at age 10, all written in #2 pencil. I'd never show a soul. It's terrible! LOL
I completed Circle of Seven in the late 1990s but didn't actually get a book published until around 2006. Now I have novels and comics and hope to keep writing!

I'm often inspired by music. I listen to a wide variety of music and sometimes will go for a long drive, listening to music and imagining what my characters are doing.

Never give up. Write until you complete the book even if you don't love everything about it. You can always go back. But complete the book!

I would love to go to Thea Harrison's world, probably in New York so I could meet a Sentinel.
Or perhaps go to the Carpathian Mountains in Christine Feehan's world of sexy immortals!

I've always loved novel Frankenstein and been intrigued by the creature. I wondered how someone who was created, not born, so has no family and who is hated by those who see him, so he has no friends, would develop a personality if he were immortal. What life experiences gave him the ability to love or taught him compassion? My short stories of Adam Frankenstein imagine those experiences that taught him life lessons.

The stew was tough and fatty. We should have chosen a different aunt.
The ornaments hung from the tree. So did Grandpa.
It was the greatest kiss of my life. Even with his lips cold from weeks in the deep freezer.
It was unnerving, the way the dolls stared at me. But, they promised they’d not harm me if I did what they told me to.

Currently I am working on two series. The Faith Healer's Daughter's trilogy. Keeper of the Light, book 1 in that trilogy will be out the end of this month. And I am working on my Blood Quill series which is a supernatural suspense (think Supernatural meets Penny Dreadful). I have 3 books already written in that series and I hope to see the first one released this year.
