Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sheila English I've always loved novel Frankenstein and been intrigued by the creature. I wondered how someone who was created, not born, so has no family and who is hated by those who see him, so he has no friends, would develop a personality if he were immortal. What life experiences gave him the ability to love or taught him compassion? My short stories of Adam Frankenstein imagine those experiences that taught him life lessons.
