Never give up! It's incredibly hard to get noticed as a writer - I'm still struggling to get readers to notice my books and the process can be/is agonisingly slow. But that doesn't mean you're not a good writer. So persevere and see every bit of progress as a victory.

Tentatively titled "Kingdom of Shadows", it's a parallel universe/high fantasy/romance about a girl from our modern world who crosses over into another world still stuck somewhere back in the middle ages. Having left behind the love of her life, Georgie faces the daunting prospect of marriage to a prince she's never met and will never love. As if that's not bad enough, a faceless faction intent on preventing the marriage taking place are determined to assassinate her before she ever makes it to the prince's side.
I've got this one all in my head and I can't write fast enough to keep up with the thoughts! By the time I'm done it should be packed full of adventure, humour and of course plenty of romance. But there's still a long way to go yet!

I daydream a lot and when I go to bed at night I tend to have a story running through my mind. I let those stories and ideas simmer in my head for a while until they start to form something solid that I feel compelled to write. That's when I make a bee-line for my laptop and start a new document.
