Sorry Ellis, I didn't see this until now. Sadly, it's true. Everyone has survived something and abuse is far too common. The amazing part is that we do survive. The worst of the world tries to hold us down, but our resilient spirit is ready to rise, over and over again. Keep rising. Keep surviving.

My confidence is fragile. I've suffered from self-esteem issues my entire life. Every bad review shakes me and I need every positive response to settle my nerves. The trick to success is proceeding even when you're shaking. I was hesitant to ask book bloggers for reviews when my first book came out. I couldn't face the rejection. I've learned now to push past the fear, take a risk, and put myself out there regardless of the response. It's scary, but definitely worth it. Great question Jason!
