Elizabeth Lynx There is no part 2 anymore. Rules of Payne used to be split into 2 parts, but over a year ago I combined them. Unfortunately, Goodreads doesn't let an author 'take down' a book so it stays up forever. The next book in the series is also a standalone called The Attraction File about their friends Evaleen and Edgar. I hope this helps. Thank you for your wonderful review!
Elizabeth Lynx It's really random. Most of the time ideas just pop into my head at odd moments (shower, driving in the car, cooking dinner, etc.) but the idea for Grading Him was more of a reaction to some books I read. I got tired of all the innocent/naive young woman who go after the alpha males. Why do all these woman have to be so virginal? So, innocent? Can't the story be just as sexy if the woman is strong, in control and knows what she wants? So, I decided to make that story.
Elizabeth Lynx The third installment of the Him Her Them series. I got such good feedback from the first one, Grading Him, that I decided extend it to a third book. The readers will learn a lot more about Jos and Pierce, but also about Luna and Corbin.
Elizabeth Lynx To be a writer you must first write, then write and then write some more. If you wish to be published and want others to see your work then the other 80% of your time should be spent marketing yourself and getting involved in the writing and (your genre) community. That doesn't mean blasting everyone with information about your book. It means making friends (facebook, twitter, goodreads, etc.) and talking about likes and dislikes, favorite authors, etc. Once people respect your opinions then they will take a peak at your books.
Elizabeth Lynx You are your own boss. You create the stories, characters and decide where they go and what they do. Yeah, characters take on a life of their own after a point, but it was you who made them to begin with. The creative elements are endless.
Elizabeth Lynx I haven't had to deal with that yet. I seem to have the opposite problem where there are too many stories in my head at the same time.
