Lori, I've already written it, but I only did one draft and then I moved on. I've read one chapter of your soiled dove story, and it's pretty good. Language and style are simple, and I like that. What I love most of all are your characters. Men are intrigued by soiled doves, and I like the fact that the girls may have a past, but they're both better persons than the runaway husband. Hope he gets redeemed somehow. Don't wory, Lori, you have the courage to try, so I can be forgiving of anyone does. I haven't had a chance to read, but I'll get another two chapters in today. Promise.

Lori, just ordered "Queen of Cow Towns," and "Legend of the Swamp Witch." Can't make a reply without a question because I'm trying to tie the loose ends together. Read your biography, and it sounds as if you're an interesting person. I think almost all writers have unhappy childhoods, but it also sounds as if you had a ball living on a self - supporting farm. Must have been hard for your parents to make ends meet. A lot like replies and questions. I'll let you know about the books. How is "Coyote" coming along?

Lori, I like erotic romances. I've only read one Zane Grey Western, and it was okay, but a little dated. The sounds of both sound good to me. I will buy one either today or tomorrow. I'm leaning toward "Not Prepared." Lori, just looked it up on Amazon and there was a "Not Prepared" under Lori Beasley Bradley.

Lori, thank you so much for reading "Coyote." I came up with the idea from a Robert Heinlein novel about people banding together for longevity and body strength. It was a great story except that Heinlein seldom could end his books well. Kept going and going. I'm working on publishing my completed novel on Midway, "The Course to Midway," probably the most consequential naval battle of WWII. Lori, let me know what you've published, and I'll give you a review. Give me your favorite..

Lori, I don't exactly what you mean for your question. I just finished, "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by Irving, and his book was full of wit, though it was a serious novel. Plotting, I just let my mind run free and then tie it together with your puns or satire or jokes, whatever the story requires. Send me something you've written, and I'll look at it. Nothing really long. I'm not saying I'm an authority, but I might be able to suggest something.

Lori, I'm just learning my way around on Goodreads, and I got sidetracked during the holiday. Yes, I'd like to be friends. Sounds to me that if you have been married four times and divorced three, that you'd be an expert on romance. What is an HEA ending? I've written one romance novel about an affair between a teacher and her best student, and I've written two historical novels and several collections of short stories, and my own Christmas story. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I read The Eagle and the Rising Sun and a short biography of Admiral Spruance and the author commented about how we were outgunned and planed at Midway, and yet Spruance and his men sunk four Japanese carriers and turned the tide in the Pacific. By the way, Admiral Fletcher was in command at Midway, something a lot of people seem to forget. Spruance followed Fletcher's orders and won the battle.

That's a tough question. I usually have a lot of stories floating around in my head. Midway kept coming back to me, so I started to research and found a lot more controversy that I thought there would be. For instance, Admiral Fletcher commander the first three naval victories for the U.S., yet he is maligned and certainly didn't deserve it. All I have to do is look in a mirror and I have the inspiration to write a diet book.
Clyde Hedges
I'm working on a diet book that tells people how to diet, and a historical naval of the Battle of Midway and the seven months leading up to it.

Stick with it; don't give up. Sooner or later you'll succeed.

You set your own hours, and you have the creative power over your characters whether they'll be good or not.

I try to write around it. I just keep going with the story until the flow kicks in. After I finish, I go back and reread it and decide if it is good or not.
