I am inspired by love and human connections, flaws, and the desire to love and be loved. I am inspired to write about characters who are broken and have darkness inside them. I like to write about difficult, complicated, non-traditional relationships between people who are not perfect. I like to explore the most difficult parts of human relationships, like imperfection and forgiveness. It’s easy to be in love when everything is perfect. But can a person be forgiven? Can a person change and grow? Can a person do something terrible, and be granted the gift of forgiveness and a second chance? Can a person who has been deeply hurt by love and life ever find the ability to move on and give love another chance?
My characters make mistakes, sometimes they do terrible things and hurt the ones they love. But hopefully they also learn and grow, and end up better and stronger in the end.

I am currently working on a new series. The first book will be Danny & Tina's love story. Readers may remember country music star, Danny Brooks (Savannah's father) from the fourth Wrecked Hearts book, Shattered.
I am also working on the seventh "Wrecked Hearts" book featuring Jens and Riley. The eighth (and possibly last) book in the Wrecked Hearts series will feature Chris & Zoey. However, look for possible spin-off series in the future!
I have several other projects in the works and am very excited about the new stories that I have been working on! If only I had more time to write I would be able to finish them more quickly!
