I try to carve out a little time each day to tweet (it's the only social media I do). Usually early in the morning when I'm not awake enough to write, or when I have a few minutes (too few to get into a proper writing headspace). It helps in terms of getting some exposure and getting to know the members of your community.

Nick and Nora Charles from the Thin Man novels and movies. They have an amazing rapport and the dialog is snappy and witty.

I'm working on a couple of things. After the release of The Demon's Apprentice, I decided to shelve any further sex demon books for a while. I was deep into a first draft of an unconventional BDSM romance (featuring a middle-aged, non-billionaire, slightly befuddled protagonist) when a shiny new idea distracted me (which I'm halfway done now). I'm hoping that one of these will see the light of day in 2017.

Hi Jayde. Thanks for your comment. Although I subject my books to several rounds of edits, mistakes invariably slip through in spite of my best efforts. I don't have an editor but I do have several very capable beta readers who are also writers. In return, I edit their material when asked.

* Recruit the readers who've contacted you as beta readers for your next masterpiece.

The fourth Demonsong novel. I thought I was done with sex demons for a while but they weren't done with me. I'm also working on the beginnings of a BDSM series that features absolutely no billionaires.

It's seldom a case of writer's block but more of a block on a particular story. Having several stories on the go at any given time helps and I tend to jump from one to another, wherever my imagination takes me. There's hardly a day that goes by when I'm not writing something.
