I love all of your books. I am curious about your which one is your favorite? I personally Love your first one. They are all excellent but there is nothing like the one where it all started. You are such an inspiration. Keep up the great work.

I love love love that you write books. Is A Walk to Remember a trilogy, or just a book by itself? And when does it come out?
Brenda Kennedy A walk to remember was going to be Shattered Dreams. The title however is already used by Nicolas Sparks. I had no idea when I listed it and found it wrong to use his title. So, I changed my books title to Shattered Dreams. I still love the title, A Walk to Remember. Thank you for asking. xoxo

Was Shattered Dreams personal to you?
Brenda Kennedy It was. My daughter was an Army wife in Fort Drum New York. She was pregnant with twins while her husband was deployed. Her husband was fine but his friend lost his right leg in an explosion. I wanted to write about real life situations. I loved Max and I am having a hard time loving Alec, although he is great!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Brenda Kennedy The Middle East problems we are constantly dealing with. I know we all can relate to war and military.

How do you get inspired to write?
Brenda Kennedy I think about real life situations that me and my readers deal with every day or have dealt with. I want to write about something we all can relate to.

What are you currently working on?
Brenda Kennedy Shattered Dreams and I am excited to say....it is almost done. Next, will be the sequel, Shattered Lives. It's the Freedom Trilogy.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Brenda Kennedy I sleep on it.... and pray something comes to be in my sleep. It usually does. I think my mind does it's best work at rest.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Brenda Kennedy You are not responsible for what your characters say. My characters say things I only dream of speaking. lol

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Brenda Kennedy To write from your heart. My books are written about real life events and although the outcome isn't always good in real life, I try to make it happy for my characters. If you feel passionate about something, go for it.
