L. Martin Probably not very well. I only write when I feel like writing. I never force myself. For me writing is a pleasure not a task. It's like a relaxing past time. If it doesn't help me relax, it's not worth doing...at the moment.
L. Martin Getting to tell a story where I control the conversation, for better or worse. The reward comes when someone reads the work and is moved, one way or the other, by it.
L. Martin Don't be afraid to try. Don't be so arrogant as to believe that everyone will like what you write. Edit, edit, and edit, then have your work edited by a good editor and learn from that editor.
L. Martin This fall my second book Follow'n A Dream was published. It is the sequel to Got A Love'n Heart. The plan was to do a third following the two main characters. I have started that book. How far I go with it remains to be seen.
L. Martin I have the comfort of not having to be inspired. I can write when I am moved to do so.
L. Martin The idea for my books come from a life time of experience. What I see every day goes into an imaginary kettle and is stirred and boiled until a story emerges. For me that is a lengthy process. I tell, retell, and refine the story scene by scene as I perform other tasks-mowing the lawn, taking a walk, etc.
