I'm so excited to tell you I won an ARC on LibraryThing of your new book, The Audacity of Goats, to review from the March batch of Early Reviewer books. I can't wait to read it?

I am delighted! I hope you will write back to tell me how you like it. You will meet a new character, and get to know some old friends a little better. We know now that there will be (at least) four books in the series, so there are more adventures to come.

I'm not qualified to be a BETA reader but if you put out any ARC's I would love to read it and review it! I can't wait, I have it marked on my calendar but no name with it? What's the new novels name?

I'm pretty sure that my publisher will be sponsoring a give-away here on Goodreads, and I can tell you for certain that I will be at the Book Expo of America (BEA) in Chicago this year, where I will be signing the ARC's that are being given away.
Book two is called "The Audacity of Goats", and if you haven't already found it, there is a preview available here on Goodreads. For those of you who have asked, my publisher recently affirmed that there will be at least two more books after "Audacity", so stay tuned!

How do you get inspired to write?
J.F. Riordan Waiting for inspiration is not always an effective way to write. The best way is to just sit down and see what happens. I admit, however, that when I am about to begin a major project I prepare/procrastinate by clearing my desk, finishing annoying little tasks that could distract me, and making sure that my calendar is clear. There's nothing worse than being in the flow of writing and having to interrupt it to go to a meeting somewhere. I dislike meetings even at the best of times, but that is a recipe for a wasted day.

What are you currently working on?
J.F. Riordan I am in the process of writing the sequel to North of the Tension Line. I won't tell you much about it for fear of spoiling the first book, but I will tell you that it is the further adventures of Fiona and her friends, and of a new character, too.
