Alan S. Grant No books per se, but I'm starting to look for new styles within the fantasy Genre.
Alan S. Grant The answer is on the tip of my tongue... seriously... I just can't think of it. Nuts. Best go for a walk and enjoy some scenery. Or maybe I'll see if I can bake that chocolate cake. Perhaps a small nap....
Alan S. Grant Knowing that you are able to transport the reader to somewhere else, even if only for a short while, and share a new world with them.

By looking at the world, stopping and taking a breath, and changing your view, things coalesce in ways you might not have imagined. And when you see that moment, there can be a need to capture it.
Alan S. Grant A close friend of mine lives in Alaska and told me about beings that exist in the wilds, unseen by humans. It fit nicely with the narrative of the other books and drove me to learn what I could, to study the wilds of Alaska and to expand out into the most northern state of the US.
