Jamie McFarlane Hi Kathleen - I'm working on getting publishing rights back for that novel. Once I have it, I'll likely write more in this series. I have a pair of similar litrpg Wizard Prince, A King's Claim that will be out in 2026. They are in the same universe, wizard, not dragon. I'd really like to get back to drakon prince.
Jamie McFarlane We're definitely a wrap for Privateer Tales. That said, The Afterwar Series is set two decades after the final book in Privateer Tales and picks up with twin children Quinn and Olivia Hoffen, as well as Adeline (Addy) Chen Hill in a whole new adventure back in the Milky Way. So the answer is not quite as cut and dried as 'done.'
Jamie McFarlane Hi Alan -

I don't have immediate plans for a Drakon Prince #2. I have a Wizard Prince that is in the same universe that I'm planning for this year, though.
Jamie McFarlane Ada is by far one of my favorite characters. Fun fact, for about a two-week period while I was writing Privateers in Exile, I had Tabby and Liam broken up and he and Ada had set off together...

Honestly, I can't say what will happen next because as soon as I do, i'll get inspired by something and it will all change.
Jamie McFarlane yes - I'm currently working on Junkyard Veterans and expect to release late this spring.
Jamie McFarlane Not soon, but certainly something I intend
Jamie McFarlane apparently, I don't get notified in a way I notice about questions - yes! and since that was before #2... yes on #3 coming this November.
Jamie McFarlane I've just started on Junkyard Spaceship.. release near November
Jamie McFarlane Hi Chris -

Thanks for the question - Privateers in Exile is available currently. http://fickledragon.com/exile-amazon is a good link.
Jamie McFarlane Hi John -

My apologies for not seeing this sooner. Books #6-12 are all available as Kindle e-books and #6-11 are available on audible and iTunes. (not really sure what's holding up 12 from being released). You might have purchased Cutpurse already if you are only seeing audible. I've had that happen to me.

Drop me a line at jamie@fickledragon.com if this doesn't resolve your issue. -- Jamie
Jamie McFarlane Growing up in the 70s and 80s, there weren't tons of choices for SF reading and I pretty much followed the standard path of Asimov, Heinlein, Nivven, Pournelle, L. Ron Hubbard, McCaffery, Orson Scott Card, Herbert and more I can't remember,

'Have Spacesuit, Will Travel', 'Starship Troopers', 'Dune', 'A Mote in God's Eye', 'Ender's Game' and 'The Ship who Sang' probably most shape what I feel make good stories.
Jamie McFarlane Hi George - Absolutely! As you know #12 Corsair Menace was our latest release. November 1st I'm launching an entirely new series based in the Privateer Tales universe - 'On a Pale Ship' is the first in the Pale Ship series. ** Slight Spoiler ** We'll see old friends including special ops leader Tali Lizst, tech heavyweight Bit Coffman and Luc Grey from Nuage.

To more directly answer your question - I'm currently working on books #13-15 in the main series Privateer Tales. These three 'Pursuit of the Bold', 'Fury of the Bold', 'Judgement of the Bold' will be released around April of 2018, 1 month apart.

How's that?
Jamie McFarlane Hi Slick - We're just now preparing Wizard Unleashed audible for a contract with our narrator. Shouldn't be too far off (my guess mid to late December)
Jamie McFarlane Hi Chris

November 1st. I’ll launch the first book in a Privateer Tales spinoff - On a Pale Ship. I’m bringing back some of the people who we’ve left behind and adding new (of course).

April ish of 2018 I’ll release the first of three new Privateer Tales main series ‘Pursuit of the Bold’. I’ll release the next two of that set a month after that. These three all follow the Loose Nuts crew

Thank you for the great question.

Jamie
Jamie McFarlane Hi Carlin -

Absolutely! I've started on Corsair Menace (Privateer Tales Book 12) and expect a summer release.
Jamie McFarlane Hi Eduardo, no date but I'd expect by the end of summer, 2016.
Jamie McFarlane I love well written science fiction, fantasy and mystery. I find my mind wandering when I'm reading. Generally, I'm thinking about how my characters would move through the rich world the author has provided.
Jamie McFarlane Book #3 in the Privateer Tales series. I've provided an update on my website about the current progress.
