Lindy Boeck I am inspired to write through personal experiences. There are stories everywhere in one's life, and the ones that touch me and make me cry or laugh are the ones I feel compelled to put down on paper.
Lindy Boeck When seven college friends from 1964 reunited 40 years later, myself among them, we were all astonished how quickly we were transported back in time to the close bonds of those college years. Lindy Boeck My husband and I are co-writing the story of 7 friends from college, 1964, who reunite 40 years later. It's the story of enduring women's friendships over time.
Lindy Boeck Sit down and start writing. Let the words flow. Reach deep within. Sometimes I close my eyes, as I'm doing right now, and let the words come out. They will.
Lindy Boeck The best thing about being a writer is taking the time to reach deep within for story, words, and feeling. Written words should be thoughtful; they can't be taken back. When you succeed in getting the right words for the right thought, it's an amazing feeling.
