I choose Frank Herbert's Dune. I would go to Arrakis so I could wear a stillsuit and ride a giant sandworm.

My hosting provider was charging me way too much, so I cancelled it. I'm shopping around for a new hosting company at the moment. Until I find a new one, it will be offline. For updates, you can check my Facebook page. www.facebook.com/RSJGregory.
In the meantime, I am busy writing a new novel, which is almost done.

My older sister died before I was born, so I never got to meet her. I only saw photos of her. When I was very young, I never really knew what happened to her, so I would picture in my own mind of what might have happened to her, and where she was. So that in itself could be a great plot for a story.

Arthur and Molly Weasley. I love their down to earth nature, plus they're eccentric, warm-hearted and kind. I wish they were my parents, they're ace.

I hope to finish book four within the next couple of months.
I'm currently finishing my horror novel at the moment, Mountains of Blood, and as soon as that is done, I'll continue with book four again. I've already written a good chunk, and I have some interesting ideas.

I've never had it, so I don't know. But you can sometimes write yourself into a corner, so to speak. I tend to back track to where it went wrong, or scrap the chapter and start again. But sometimes you just need to rest, go for a walk, watch a film, have a nice long hot bath. If you still struggle, then try and write something else. You can't force an idea to take shape, it will or it won't. But don't rush things. Sometimes, when you're not thinking or worrying about it, inspiration strikes. Carry a notebook and make notes when they appear to you. I always carry one.

Being in control. There's nothing better than creating a world and filling it with characters, and watching them dance to your tune. And being such an avid fan and devourer of entertainment, it's great to be able to give something back.

Read everything, even books that you wouldn't normally pick up. Also, read Wired for Story by Lisa Cron. It's indispensable. Depending on what genre you intend to write for, you will need to make sure that you are well versed on what is currently out there, what is doing well, and what is not. What style do you want to write in? First person or third person?
I also recommend you attend a creative writing course, join a writing group and find yourself a critique buddy. But other things you will need, which can't be taught, is perseverence, patience, plenty of elbow grease, a thick skin and above all else, stories to tell.

Read. I read a lot. I listen to music, and sometimes a song will give me inspiration. But mostly, it's my dreams or my imagination. I've always had my head in the clouds.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer and Superman. I enjoyed the part where you got to experience Bella's powers first hand, and I wanted to experience more of that, and so the idea came to me to write my own story. But instead of vampires, I would have superheroes.
The other idea which helped shape it was, what if Superman wrote his own story, in his own words, detailing what it feels like to be shot at, or how it feels, when he couldn't save someone. That idea took root, but I couldn't use Superman, so Cosmic Girl was born.
