Goodreads asked R.S.J. Gregory:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

R.S.J. Gregory I've never had it, so I don't know. But you can sometimes write yourself into a corner, so to speak. I tend to back track to where it went wrong, or scrap the chapter and start again. But sometimes you just need to rest, go for a walk, watch a film, have a nice long hot bath. If you still struggle, then try and write something else. You can't force an idea to take shape, it will or it won't. But don't rush things. Sometimes, when you're not thinking or worrying about it, inspiration strikes. Carry a notebook and make notes when they appear to you. I always carry one.
