Jacinta Howard Aw, thank you! Yes, I definitely plan to release more books in audio. I don't have any set dates as of right now, but certainly this year.
Jacinta Howard Hi K! I'm so sorry I missed these questions! I'm sure you already know the Love Below is available in audiobook the collection features an extra short on the band's manager- Jay Little. Again, so sorry I'm just seeing this!
Jacinta Howard Hi! Thank you so much- glad you enjoyed Leah and Trevor. You know, I'm strongly considering a short story for Zo, but I haven't completely worked it out in my mind yet. I do think his story would be interesting though. My favorites are probably Less Than Forever, Blind Expectations, and Loving Cassie... but I also like The Night Before and can't wait for you all to get their follow-up The Morning After. :-)
Jacinta Howard Hi! Yes, Part I of Blind Expectations is the novella from Because My Heart Said So. Part II begins a few months after Part II ends. Both Part I and II are included in the full-length of Blind Expectations.
Jacinta Howard I'm so glad you like the music aspect of the books! That's really a lot of me coming out in my writing. I love, love music.

So yes, I dig pretty much all genres--anything that has soul moves me, honestly.

I love jazz (John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding, Charlie Parker, etc.). I love groups like Zero 7 (their song "Destiny" is used in the trailer for Better Than Okay), The Black Keys, Radiohead, The Civil Wars and Alabama Shakes are a new favorite-- I can't stop listening to their new record, Sound & Color. Like I said, anything with soul, no matter what the genre, speaks to me.

As far as the music I used in my books, I just tried to pick songs that fit that particular situation and made sense for the characters to reference in Better Than Okay and More Than Always. Same thing for Happiness in Jersey. The Prototype is sort of a rock/soul band with hip-hop inclinations so it made sense for them to play hip-hop, rock and soul songs. But mostly the songs mentioned in the books are just songs/artists that I personally dig.
Jacinta Howard :-) Less Than Forever will be out in Spring (hopefully) and after that I'm going back to The Prototype, so I hope to have a follow-up to Happiness in Jersey out by the summer.
Jacinta Howard Happiness in Jersey really started with Jersey. I had her in my head as I was finishing Better Than Okay so I started and finished the first chapter before I was even finished with BTOK.
Jacinta Howard By listening to people, going cool places, having good conversations and by reading.
Jacinta Howard I'm currently working on the follow-up to Better Than Okay. I didn't do a very good job of letting people know that it was always intended as a series. Actually, I don't think I let people know at all and I think some readers thought the ending was rushed or were waiting for a bit more from Brian and Destiny. I'm rectifying that with this next book, which will give more insight into Brian. Also, I'm working on the third installment of this series, which will include more from Dorian and Raven.

Additionally, I'm in the beginning stages of The Prototype series- which will follow Happiness in Jersey.
Jacinta Howard Being able to enter another world and stay there uninterrupted... well, until actual life interrupts you, of course.
