I'd been batting around the abstract idea for the story for a while when one night I was l laying in bed conversing with my husband and the one thought that brought it all together popped into my mind. "There's nothing better than a hard ass in a sexy package with intelligence shining in his eyes." I instantly knew what kind of character my main protagonist would be and how I would write him.
