Hi (again!) -- when I first wrote SUMMER OF SLOANE, I had all intentions of it being a stand alone novel...however, I had so much fun with several of the characters that you just never know if a companion novel is in the future for me! I wouldn't mind exploring Luce's story...or even Mia or Maile -- or to totally try something new, writing from Penn's POV (a male MC is something I've never done before, so who knows?).
And as for Mick and Slo...well, I'm not sure it's entirely up to Mick -- Sloane has some things to think about as well. And I often ask the question: if you were in the same situation, would ever forgive a friend that committed this type of ultimate betrayal? Would it not make you consider what friendship really means? I would think both of those things play a huge factor in how things might turn out...but of course, every situation is different, so you never know?

Hi Christine!!! I am currently writing a new YA contemporary novel, but it has a ways to go, so we'll see what happens!

Hi Gretchen -- I currently do not have plans for a sequel or companion novel to SLOANE, but that doesn't mean that won't ever happen!
