P.D. Cain The most recent book is not in my own name, rather a pen name as it is for adult reading. It began when I started a new science fiction book, which I became distracted from when I came up with 'The Pygmies' Potion', a humorous, but erotic story - a fairytale for adults. Naughty but very enjoyable writing.
P.D. Cain Fortunately, I am never short of stories in my head. At the moment I have several going on in my head. Occasionally I return to planet earth to see what's happening in the news!
P.D. Cain 'Till the End of Time'. I kept a diary to document a sponsored diet I went on for 10 weeks which turned out to be a document of a very different kind when my partner was diagnosed with cancer one week after I began the diet.
P.D. Cain Don't do it for the money. The chances are you won't be a J.K. Rowling. There are 70,000 new books submitted to Kindle EVERY MONTH! So the chances of getting to the top of the tree are minimal. I write for the sheer pleasure it gives me.
P.D. Cain For myself, I do a lot of research even when writing fiction books as I want the story to be as realistic as possible. eg: my book, April Dawn - Life Lives, in which I followed a true timeline on a journey across America, which just happened to be the old Pony Express route.
P.D. Cain I eat cheese and pickled onion before going to bed and then go and sleep on it. I usually dream up something.
