Andrew,
It's the same book with a different title. Flame in Shadow is no longer for sale, although it may still be available in libraries or used bookstores.
There were editing changes between the editions though nothing structural that I recall. The big changes were the title and the cover.

I have two books on the list right now, The Year of the French, by Thomas Flanagan, a recommendation from a reader, and Actionable Gamification, by Yu-Kai Chou, a recommendation from a fellow author.
I actively solicit recommendations from my readers so I'm certain I'll be adding to the list.

This may sound backwards, but I don't need to get inspired to write, so long as I wrote something the previous day.
Taking a day off is deadly, though, so I try to just keep at it, like a seven-day a week job.
It's an entirely unromantic attitude, but I have readers that are waiting for the next story, and I don't want them to think I'm a slacker, or that I take them for granted.
So I just keep at it, like a workman, no inspiration required.

Interacting with readers.
I like individuals, and that's who I write for. People who think for themselves are endlessly interesting and endlessly surprising.
