Jonas Lee Hi Henrietta!

I think I wanted to be a writer since I was in grade school at least. I always used to play out scenarios and dialogue with my GI Joes. Getting into understanding words and books and things after that felt natural. Thanks for your question!
Jonas Lee The other day, a lovely young girl in the prime of her life came up to me saying how she loved all my books, along with her entire family, friends and social network. Then she told me they never leave reviews...
Jonas Lee Everyone wants to go to Hogwarts, but every other fictional world I can think of has such a cataclysmic downer going for it, so I guess that's my answer. I'll muggle through everything and try to find my spirit animal or Patronus.
Jonas Lee This year, 2017, I am doing a classical reading challenge with my daughter. We are wanting to read The Handmaid's Tale, The Outsiders and possibly Catcher in the Rye
Jonas Lee I am already starting to outline a new series involving what I can only try and describe as post steampunk-apocalyptic magi-tech. If it sounds confusing, it's because it will have a whole lot of things for everyone to love.

I also am looking into a singular novel, which I may publish on my own in the next year.
Jonas Lee Okay, so I'm sure this is out there a thousand times, but as far as couples go, Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. They are young, but they always showed this overly mature way with each other, maybe through things they've shared, but it was always fun getting a glimpse into them becoming a couple.
Jonas Lee There certainly will be. In fact, I am hoping to have it done soon and out before the end of 2016. I'll be looking forward to your thoughts, Liv!
Jonas Lee Carter's story was originally started as a piece of fan-fiction. I read the Time Traveler's Wife and kept wondering, what if they had a kid. I wrote a small chapter and shelved it for a few years. Then, after starting a blog and needing a break from trying to query my first completed novel, I picked up Carter and haven't put him down yet.
Jonas Lee When it comes to learning a new language, I would think the more you talk and read, the better you will become.
Jonas Lee All of the FREE criticism!! I wish I could trade those in for M&M's.
Jonas Lee I usually get thoughts while I drive. It could be a from another book, a TV show, song, commercial or a movie. But I sense this emotional connection to it and it takes my mind on a trip. From there, I have to jot some portion of it down, even if I can't afford the time to.
Jonas Lee As tough as it is, keep writing. Even if you get other ideas, start hating your current ones or can't must a single sentence. Keep writing something and before you know it, you'll find that story that speaks to you and it will flow onto the paper.
Jonas Lee I abandon the story I'm on and think about writing the last thing I thought of while falling asleep. Generally, it helps me relax and get creative and before I know it, I'm back into my imaginarium.
Jonas Lee I actually wrote the first chapter as kind of a fan fiction piece after reading The Time Traveler's Wife. I took my own spin on it and asked myself what would it be like if it were genetic? What if everyone started developing this genetic disease? So, A Time to Reap was a continuation for fans and to help draw in more potential fans. It developed so easily and quickly, I had to switch tracks and focus on publishing it as my inaugural novel.
Jonas Lee As of today, I am working on a sequel to my debut novel, A Time to Reap. It continues with the story of Carter Gabel, his girlfriend, grandson, father and a lot of new characters no one has met before.
