American Red

My book baby is out there taking its first steps today. It's super exciting and also terrifying. As an author, I think we all fear our book babies are going to fall on their precious faces, or get bullied or flat-out ignored. Sort of wandered around between characters and points in time making most of the story suffer for me. I think I was expecting something progressing faster.

Great novel from the POV of a little girl. Makes the interactions both scarier and heart breaking. Especially towards the end. I’d say this is a 4 1/2 stars.
