Fiona, I just discovered you as a fellow Australian outback author and will read some of your books - do you have a particular recommendation of where to begin? Also where are you based as it would be good to catch up some time? Regards Graham Wilson
Fiona Tarr Hi Graham. Please excuse my delay in replying. GR didn't let me know you left a message.

My latest work is always going to be my best so I'd suggest you start with Her Buried Bones - book 1 in the Opal Fields series.

Some of my fans are jumping into the Foxy Mysteries series (or boxed set) because the lead character of the Opal Fields is also in this series, but it will jump you ahead to her future and is a little spicier than the Opal Fields series.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Fiona Tarr I'd like to know who has the rights to my great Uncle's books which are still in print. George Johnston was an Australian journalist, war correspondent and literary novelist whose family all died young.
I've been meaning to track down the publishing company and find out more, but honestly didn't really know where to start. Now I write mystery novels, it might back a good sub-plot for a book, so I should look further into it.

What are you currently working on?
Fiona Tarr I am currently writing book 3 in the Covenant of Grace Series. All going well, I should have the book ready for release in May-June 2016.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Fiona Tarr I take a break, read some non-fiction and do research on the historical content of my books. This usually gets the imagination rolling again pretty quickly.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Fiona Tarr Seed of Hope is a sequel so the idea came from book 1. The core of the story takes the Old Testament bible story of King David and takes it to a new level of religious controversy. Anyone who enjoys ethical and moral debate among religions with get something out my work.
