Hey Tom, am just considering re reading your trilogy, Promise of a child and sequels. Some of the most beguiling books I have read for years, and reminded me of why I started reading Science fiction in the first place. Trouble is I stormed through them , and really need to give myself time to absorb what is going on, and the scale of what you describe.. Anyways my question is are you writing anything else currently?

Tom Toner Hi Eddie, thanks for your message - glad you liked the series! I'm working on a standalone SF at the moment, hoping to get it finished by the end of September. I've also written a big space opera unrelated to the Amaranthine books that was a bit too weird for the publishers - it had no human characters at all, which was probably a bad idea - so I have no idea when/if that'll ever see the light of day. Aside from the SF I've been writing horror novels under a different name, one of which is on submission now.
