Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Lisa Hall Amelia Peabody and Radcliffe Emerson. I love that their relationship is inclusive of their passion for the sands of Egypt. They are partners in every sense of the word.

Lisa Hall I have a blog post that addresses this. The original idea came from my mother.

How do you get inspired to write?
Lisa Hall Not sure inspired is the right word. I've always been a reader. For me, it was a natural progression.

Lisa Hall Currently working on a space opera, Crane's War. A genetically modified military squad follow a group of mercenaries into a new, unexplored galaxy.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Lisa Hall Don't think you have to be published to be a writer. A writer is a person who writes. Be that person and love it.

Lisa Hall Creating your own world.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Lisa Hall I switch stories. I don't have much of a problem with block. I tend to suffer from the too many options problem. It helps to step away and think it through.
