Hi, I looked at your profile and don't think so. I spent much of my childhood in Illinois and Arizona. I've also lived in New Jersey; and now Maryland. But it's always good to have new friends.

Hi David,
Like you, I am way behind on my reading list. Bad me.
I did begin Revival and it hooked me right away but then I was finishing writing my latest book - SCORN KILLS - and got caught up right away in my newest book - Pretty Little Dead Girls. If you like horror, take a look at my books - The Devil's Lieutenant and SCORN KILLS. Stephen King has been a huge influence on me so I hope that influence shows in my writing.
I regret not being able to discuss Revival in detail but keep in touch. Maybe next time, I will have finished reading Revival. I still remember being so excited when I bought it.

That's completely understandable. If I were a writer I'm not sure how I would ever find time to read, I hardly have time as it is.

Either would be okay. SCORN KILLS is a stand alone for the most part. But I would suggest to read The Devil's Lieutenant first because then you can get that AHA moment when you see the other characters again.
Thanks.

I would have to say that life inspires me to write. Whether it is a beautiful sunset, a warm beach or the person with road rage in front of me (well, especially the person with road rage) a whole story spills out at my feet just waiting for me to notice. I do so love that feeling.

My advice for aspiring writers is to find someone who will tell them the truth. Sometimes we creative beings are so into our stories and characters that we can't be the best judge. Our truth buddy will keep us in line. After that, I would say - always believe in yourself and never, ever give up.

Currently, I am working on Book 2 in The Devil's Due Collection. I have to say I didn't know I'd be so excited about diving in so quickly. I also have a file on a separate novel that so far includes lots and lots of notes. That book is in the thriller genre. I maybe work it in between Books 2 and 3.
