Most recent published book or what I'm working on now. I'll give you the idea from the novel. There were a few sources:
I watched a movie years ago, about a boy who was kidnapped and lived with his kidnapper for years. The kidnapper was a child molester (I know sad right). Well the boy was used to lure other boys back to the kidnapper/child molester. Years later, when the boy turned into a teenager, the kidnapper stole another boy. Finally the teenager had enough, and he escaped with the boy.

The best thing about being a writer is bringing my characters to life. They all want to have their stories told. Whenever I hit publish, I feel like I've done them justice.
A close second would be receiving messages from fans. I love it when the characters I love so much are loved by others too.

I've never had writer's block. I write stories because I have no other choice. If I don't write my soul is uneasy. My biggest problem is not having the time to tell they story the way it wants to be told.
