Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Constance Burris Most recent published book or what I'm working on now. I'll give you the idea from the novel. There were a few sources:
I watched a movie years ago, about a boy who was kidnapped and lived with his kidnapper for years. The kidnapper was a child molester (I know sad right). Well the boy was used to lure other boys back to the kidnapper/child molester. Years later, when the boy turned into a teenager, the kidnapper stole another boy. Finally the teenager had enough, and he escaped with the boy.
