My most recent published work is Over Your Dead Body and it is the story of how one man comes to terms with the fact that he is gay and the effect his sexuality has had on his life. It takes place in a number of locations but primarily in the west of Ireland where the main protagonist grew up. The inspiration / idea for the story came from my own experience of growing up in the west of Ireland in the eighties / nineties and seeing the horrible discrimination my gay friends endured. I'm a passionate believer in human rights and equality and this story means a lot to me.

Life. People I meet. My past. Travelling. Dreams.

A contemporary romance where a man who has denied himself the chance at love, primarily due to his job (he's military), meets a woman who challenges him on every level, leading him to question his decisions about his life. He is alpha all the way and so is she! The sparks fly.

This is easy! If you give up then the aspiration to be a writer is done. Never give up. In the current publishing climate, I would say go Indie and self-publish, save yourself the rejection heartache.

I'm an Indie Author and love the independence it affords me. As a former journalist I know how restrictive it can be dealing with editors and the commercial realities of getting your work published. The best thing about being a writer is getting the stories from my head to a page and then hearing back from readers about how much they love those stories.
