Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Roisin Black My most recent published work is Over Your Dead Body and it is the story of how one man comes to terms with the fact that he is gay and the effect his sexuality has had on his life. It takes place in a number of locations but primarily in the west of Ireland where the main protagonist grew up. The inspiration / idea for the story came from my own experience of growing up in the west of Ireland in the eighties / nineties and seeing the horrible discrimination my gay friends endured. I'm a passionate believer in human rights and equality and this story means a lot to me.
