Thanks for question - there are first and second editions of these books (after further editing- but not substantially different) and i changed names to keep track of different versions. it also lets me test different names to see which works best

Graham Wilson Anne,
Thanks for your comments and questions.

Re which of my books to read - 3 real choices - if you like Historical Fiction try either Mysteries or The Old Balmain House Series (3 books - begin at Book 1)

If you have a preference for the Outback Noir or Thriller genre then my Crocodile Dreaming Series (5 books and a 2 book Prequel) is my suggestion.

If you prefer true stories try my memoir - Arnhem's Kaleidoscope Children - the true story of growing up in a remote aboriginal community in Arnhem Land.

If you read ebooks I am happy to gift you a couple to sample.

Regards Graham

Graham Wilson Greg,
Today's a good day if you want to ring. I have had a couple days of meetings and now free today except for one for half an hour at 9.30.

I do use Goodreads Giveaways but not really their other tools which I don't know much about. In my experience the Giveaways are good for getting new US readers but not much value for building readership in Oz. I have never really worked out the best techniques for the Oz market -it's only about 10% of my reader base.

Graham
Graham Wilson Thanks Lesta - I have gifted it to you - see message for more details

Graham Wilson Paul,
sorry for the delayed reply.

My presumption (given the short bio of the Graham Wilson you are referring to at the bottom of the Journal of Navel Institute you cite) is that this person is the author of a couple military related books under this name - being the two I have put links to below as follows. You may be able to find him through these books about military campaigns if he was in fact the author.

Do let me know what you find out at grahambbbooks@gmail.com if you do make some progress.

Regards Graham

Graham Wilson I woke up in a place I did not know. I remembered nothing and knew nobody.
Graham Wilson I would go to Australia back about 70,000 years ago not long after the first aborigines had arrived and the mega-fauna (marsupial lions, wombats the size of a car etc) were still there - I would put myself in the middle of a small aboriginal clan and see how they lived in this place and what it was like to see these amazing animals - probably terrifying
Graham Wilson That's great - thanks for letting me know.
Graham Wilson Hello again Mary,
I have just gifted the first book in this series Just Visiting to you along with the first book in my other series should it be of interest - sent to the email address as above. You may already have them as per second question so perhaps not needed but anyway read one or both if of interest

Regards Graham
Graham Wilson Summer seems to far away as we are just into winter, however I love a good mystery to curl myself up with in a warm place on a cold night, or as Sydney has mostly beautiful sunny winter days to find a good spot in a park in the sunshine. Tell Me Why by Sandi Wallace is one book on my reading list for this winter
Graham Wilson I have a mystery in my history that I would like to uncover. The story told by my 90 year old aunt whose memory is not so clear now not is.
"Her father (my grandfather) was sent out to New Zealand from England in the care of a family that were not his real parents around 1900. It was said he was fostered as he was the illegitimate son of an aristocrat there. Then in the first World War he is said to have changed his name to John Wilson from a name which may have been John Forbes or Alfred Forbes, taking the name of a dead friend. Apparently before the war he enlisted in the New Zealand navy as a midshipsman as was on a boat that sailed to the rescue of some famous Antarctic explorer. So I would like to find out who he really was, beginning with his NZ Navy records to find out if he had another name before the war and then with this name see if I can trace the people who brought him out from England and then perhaps who he really was and where he was from. If this is discoverable from 120 years ago it could make either a great true life Who are you story and if not it could be used to create a novel based on the same but where truth is not a limiting factor - perhaps he could be a son/grandson of a famous English peer and I could along the way discover another family that I never knew existed, Or perhaps it can all turn out to be a blind rabbit warren and after much searching I find out we were just descended from illiterate Scottish peasants!!
Graham Wilson My latest novel series is about an English backpacker who comes to Australia and goes travelling with a very dangerous man, and how her whole life falls apart based on this encounter. It was motivated by the many lovely and trusting backpackers I met when I lived and worked in the Northern Territory and the sense of how precarious this trust that they placed in unknown people was.
Graham Wilson Write something, anything, and then show it to a friend who is both kind and critical and ask them to tell you what is good and bad about it. Then write it again and build on this to tell a story that you want to tell
Graham Wilson I have enjoyed writing since when I was a child but really what inspired me was how much I loved the creative process when I wrote my first novel and was completely immersed as I created this story in my mind and then wrote it down.
Graham Wilson I am trying to polish the books I have already written which are a memoir and two novel series. As they have been out there for a while I have lots of reader comments and know I can improve these stories based on what readers have told me. Once this is done I will start work on a couple new true story books, one set in outack Australia and one which follows the journeys of Irish leaving at a time when they could never come home
Graham Wilson When I got writing block during writing my first book, a memoir I got past it by starting to write a new work which was an imaginary novel. It worked wonderfully and I got captivated by a whole new writing experience. Then when I had done this I was able to return to finish my first book.
Graham Wilson I get a chance to share with others the stories I know, have experienced or have created in my mind
