Write anything. Start with post-its. Don't try and write everything perfectly. Trying doesn't help. First relax, relax, relax , drink a coffee and let it all out. Organize it and revise it later. First you need the raw materials to work with. Trying to be perfect at the outset is like trying to build a house with only the blueprint as your raw materials.

In 2001 I stumbled on an out-of-print book from 1909 on my parents' bookshelf on their farm in Cornwall. It was written by a French doctor and had been badly translated by an English scholar. That book introduced me to Seneca. Seneca inspired me to spend three years researching applied positive psychology and philosophy, and the outcome of that research (and applying it to myself and then to the people i coached) was this book. But I needed this book to help myself. So i had no choice but to create it.
