Hi Penny, thanks for your question and your patience! The 13th Baronet is complete, however, it’s currently undergoing a read through and I’m awaiting feedback. I am hoping to have it ready to publish at the end of this month, but it will admittedly be touch-and-go. It was never my intention to have such a gap between releases and I apologise for the huge delay; I know I may have lost some readers because of it. Quite a lot has happened in these last few years, and my circumstances are so different now to when I wrote Halton Cray, it has been a struggle to make time for my writing. It is though my passion and I’d never have been happy to publish anything with which I wasn’t completely satisfied!

Hi Cece, thanks for your interesting question! I love a variety of music, although I find it too distracting to listen to while writing. I have playlists for when I take short breaks or am doing my research. If I’m planning to write something dark and/or poetic, I might listen to Radiohead, Bjork, Enigma, The Art of Noise, Kate Bush, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Fiona Apple… well, there are many that inspire me! I have a little obsession with buying movie soundtracks too, which always introduce me to new artists and sounds. Like you, I love 80’s music! :)

The 13th Baronet, the second book in the Shadows of the World series. I’m very excited about it! While still giving nods to Jane Eyre, there are new characters mixing things up and more mysteries to unravel. It will be available later this year!
