Robby Hamlin Writing serves me as a good anger management program. Fiction writing does not interest me as it did. Escaping reality no longer lights my path. Too time consuming. Avoiding a harsh version of reality is a fight worth having. A bartender with his own restaurant, or the other way around, once told me "everybody's gotta die" as we traded frozen shots of tequila - that may have been the moment I stopped consuming alcohol for good. Die, of course. That way, no way.
Robby Hamlin The best thing is how easy "writing" is because of technology. The worst thing would be writing because I needed the money.
Robby Hamlin I read a little news, which inspires a reaction that I can put into words. Often, a picture alone is inspiration enough. Like a picture of a pot of coffee, a loaf of fresh baked bread, a sandy Caribbean beach.
