Actually, I'm just starting myself, but what I can tell them is that: Read, Believe, Write and Let people read your work so you can improve on it. I've had tons of rejection letters with The Sundered Faith until I decided to publish it myself. Don't let rejection pull you down, rather, make it a weapon and be well equipped.

Reading books of course. I'm into a lot of fantasy and sci-fi as a child. My first book was about the heroes and gods of Greek mythology. Horror and genre fiction came after that. Since then I became a bibliophile.

It came from reading sword & sorcery novels particularly Fafrhd & the Gray Mouser and the Elric series. Azanthriel, the lead character, is a name I used in a tabletop roleplaying game called Exalted. The name stuck to me that I eventually used it in the book.
