Tracee Lydia Garner I love the idea of friendships and relationships lost (and found) that when they return to each other, maturity has refined and matured them in a way they are now (at the second-chance meetings) ready to love. I also wonder about the paths people take and how they end up. How one person meets a wonderful family (adopted from foster care) while others may experience abuse and tragedy and have a harder time finding their way. As is the case with Leedra and Dexter in Deadly Affections.
Tracee Lydia Garner Everyday occurrences inspire me as well every-day people. People I don't know and the people I know. As I think about their life, I began to wonder. What are they doing? Where are they from? Who will they meet? What kinds of obstacles have they overcome? I get excited over answering these questions for them in my own little world.

Tracee Lydia Garner Every answer you need under the sun is out there, just look or ask. If you do a little more looking and seeking before hand, your next questions about writing will be that much more refined and your conservation much more fruitful.
Tracee Lydia Garner The conclusion of the Parker Family Trilogy with James story (Fatal Opposition) to close out Anchored Hearts and Deadly Affections.
Tracee Lydia Garner I call Writer's Block Lazy Block. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen but I do believe it shouldn't happen often because there's just too many ideas. A couple of things that work for me:
1. A letter to self about my characters about fears and thoughts about the book - there is usually a larger issue besides just being blocked and idealess
2. READING - good old fashioned reading, challenge yourself if you are stuck to read two books in two days or one day whichever is harder
3. The Encouragement File - I have little notes (too few and far between)but clips, e-mails and message book comments, that I go back over them from supporting friends, fans and even strangers that have read my books for the very first time and had something wonderful to share. Reading over their kindness just lets me know that I did this once or twice or five times now, I can do it again!
