Hello Brad,
I bought a copy of your collection of poems at 12th Street Books in Austin, Texas many many years ago. I currently live in Austin. Have been here on and off since 1989. Though I did live in Paris from 1997 to 2004, where I became very familiar with Shakespeare & Company.
Thanks for contacting me! I really enjoy your book. It has brought me much pleasure through the years.

Thank you for allowing yourself to write about dog shit and other bodily excretions. My editor is always trying to take any hint of bowel movements out of my poetry. Maybe I should get a new editor. (I lived in Belleville when I was in Paris, and my gosh... the amount of dog shit is amazing. Those little dog vacuum motorcycle thingies don't do the rounds in the 'lesser' neighborhoods as much as in the nice more touristic places towards the center of the city...)
I do miss Paris.
Anyway... thank you again for saying hello. I'll definitely be checking out your new stuff.
