I generally don't have writer's block. If I have trouble it's because I don't want to sit down and do the hard yards and I'm okay with that. I can't write every day. Sometimes I don't write for a week especially if I'm working night shift, but I know if left for too long my muse taps me on the shoulder and tells me to get back to it.

The best thing about being a writer is how the story grows on its own. There's magic in the way a story forms and it's truly an amazing experience

My current work in progress is Resurrection of an Empire which is the sequel to Bound to Survive. Word count is approximately 60,0000, but there's still so much to write.

I was inspired to write late one evening. After chatting with a friend it was late and I had an early start for work, needing to be up at 4:00am I finally went to bed. As I snuggled down an idea popped into my head and I thought, 'That would be a great story.' I thought about the idea and debated whether to get up and write it down.It continued to grow and I struggled to fall asleep. Early the next morning I went to work and thought about it all day and as soon as I arrived home I wrote it down. I managed to write just over two pages. Feeling accomplished I showed my story to my Mum and she encouraged me and offered me advice. That is when the writing bug bit me and I rewrote that first chapter which is now the second and a whole world appeared and slowly grew.
