Goodreads asked Sharon Gibbs:

How do you get inspired to write?

Sharon Gibbs I was inspired to write late one evening. After chatting with a friend it was late and I had an early start for work, needing to be up at 4:00am I finally went to bed. As I snuggled down an idea popped into my head and I thought, 'That would be a great story.' I thought about the idea and debated whether to get up and write it down.It continued to grow and I struggled to fall asleep. Early the next morning I went to work and thought about it all day and as soon as I arrived home I wrote it down. I managed to write just over two pages. Feeling accomplished I showed my story to my Mum and she encouraged me and offered me advice. That is when the writing bug bit me and I rewrote that first chapter which is now the second and a whole world appeared and slowly grew.
