The gene sequencing currently costs 1000 dollars, but the price has been coming down consistently. If it really becomes free one day, I don’t think anyone will hesitate to share this most personal data. In the digital age, privacy is just wishful thinking because the benefit of sharing data far outweighs privacy concerns.”
