I have heard it many times and also possibly said a few times but most of us never write a book ever. It has nothing to do the lack of richness of the experience or the intent behind it. Just as many of us desire to start a business one day, we keep postponing that perennially.(less)

Istanbul

I recall one incident when we were waiting at the gate of the Ayasofya mosque, one of the security guards asked us - which country we were from. I responded “India”, but they kept asking as if it did not register. Then one of his colleagues asked “Hindustan?” – I said yes. Then they all understood. It could be an isolated case but I think Hindustan had a historical significance way back in Turkish Read more of this blog post »

“There can be nothing more private than the genetic code we carry, right? I asked during one of my presentations to the audience - how many of you would share your DNA samples if I can offer you free Gene sequencing. It can effectively predict your future health. About 40% of the audience raised their hand. The remaining 60% thought privacy was an issue. When I did a similar survey among millennials – more than 80% agreed to share. The gene sequencing currently costs 1000 dollars, but the price has been coming down consistently. If it really becomes free one day, I don’t think anyone will hesitate to share this most personal data. In the digital age, privacy is just wishful thinking because the benefit of sharing data far outweighs privacy concerns.”
