TIPS ON HOW TO BE AN AUTHOR.
Have you always wanted to write a book? Do you have a story that needs to be told?

The first step in being a writer is having a story to tell. Now, the next step is telling that story in an interesting and unique way. Whether your book is about farming, finance or romance how you engage your readers is the foundation of your success. First things first. Sit down and write the most important page of your book. The first page is your hook. You will have roughly 250 words at your disposal. Make them count. This is your first and most important task and it will be a challenge. The next piece of advice, make it sexy. How do I make my Finance book sexy? Think Mad Men. Sell it to your readers. It's a crowded market out there and you need to standout.

Is Standing Out in The Crowd ...Mission Impossible...
The Braille ClubI'd written a terrific book. I self- published and waited with baited breath. My launch was wonderful, my friends and family utterly supportive but I soon realised the vast market I had entered was utterly SATURATED!
Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of indie authors, after all I am one, but there is bad and good out there and readers experiences reflect that...they are overwhelmed.
An avid reader, I have been bombarded with free books, 99p etc and occasionally I buy and yet never seem to read. Why?
Everyone likes a bargain...right?
Somehow cheap books sometimes equates to a poor product and I have been guilty of thinking "if it's cheap it can't be that good...".
A changing market from traditional to digital publishers has meant a changing price structure. A huge increase in authors has created a fiercely competitive environment where the readers wins, in terms of value for money but finds it difficult to make a choice.
So take your time, read my book description and read my reviews. Make a decision based on not whether it's a bargain or not but a book you will enjoy!
