2018 NEW Book released
My new book "Lyle Pioneer Days" has been released in Sept. of 2018.
Queen coronations, parades, and horse shows made up just a small part of what was Pioneer Days. In 1967, the small community of Lyle, Washington, began an annual Old West celebration over Memorial Day weekend that rivaled the festivities of many larger towns. This book covers each year of Lyle Pioneer Days, with over 600 pictures and descriptions of all the activities and many of the people involved. Relive the fun of the more than 60 different events, including Native American dancers, cowboy breakfasts, variety shows, motorcycle races, target shoots, arts and crafts contests, beard contests, cross country horse races, and all that was part of Lyle Pioneer Days.

New book being written
I'm in the process of a new book that should be out in 2017. It will be about Curtis E. Gould who was a teacher by trade, a mountain climbing hobbyist in his spare time, and a fire lookout in the Mt. Hood National Forest during the summers of the 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s. His pictures, notes, poems and accounts give a glimpse into the fire lookout profession that is quickly fading away into a past most don’t remember and have never experienced.

New book released! Sea-Arama Marineworld
It's finally here!
Today is the release of my new book "Sea-Arama Marineworld"! You can check it out at Amazon.com
There are 3 options for purchasing it:
1. Kindle version (in color)- $9.99
2. Print version (in black n white)- $17.993. Print version (in color)- $45.00
Sorry for the high price of #3, but I had no control over that. I guess a large 360 page color book costs a lot to print. All of the versions are the same (except for the color) and all include over 350 pictures.
Hope you enjoy it!If you do, please write a review for me on Amazon.com or where ever you buy it.

New Book
Here is a taste of what is in my newest book:
"77 Days on a Harley Davidson."
It was 1929, the summer before the Great Depression, and life was good. Geography teacher Curtis Gould set out on his 1927 Harley Davidson to ride around the perimeter of the U.S. His purpose was to record, photograph, and report what he saw to his students, but his adventures ended up in a magazine, newspapers, and now this book. It was a 77-day journey filled with danger, beauty, and humor—a unique time seen through the eyes of one man on his motorcycle.
