The holiday season is upon us and there is no greater gift than that of a book. My new novel, Blue Diamonds, is a continuation of the Mandarin Rose series. After her conflict with Elka Weinhauer and the Dante Circle, Kitty believes the world has become a safer place and her life could now become what she always dreamed of. She soon learns that her dream life couldn't be farther from reality as an unknown virus wipes out three-fourths of the world's men.

Now five years after that tragic event, Kitty and her friends, Janelle, Susan and Andrea, must deal with a world that has become darker and more controlling. Love is illegal and life has become a series of meaningless moments. Despite the edict about love, their emotions toward their paid lover, Brighton, begins to deepen, making things more complicated between them. However, that's not the worst of their problems. They soon learn that a sinister plot is taking place in this new dystopian republic that could lead to uncovering the mystery behind the deaths of the men five years ago.

You know, I love being a creator! There is so much in this world that has yet to be created. And even though there might be similarities between what I create and what others do, I find that my spin adds a little bit of "me" in it, and that means that I've left a little piece of who I am behind once I'm long gone. My creations will echo what I've experienced and believed in throughout my life and I can honestly think of no greater honor for a creator to have. It is immortality in its basic sense.
