Andy Perdue is a third-generation journalist who began his newspaper career in 1985 at the Port Townsend Leader on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

In 1998, he co-founded Wine Press Northwest, a quarterly glossy consumer magazine that focuses on the wines of Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and Idaho.

In 2003, Sasquatch published his first book, "The Northwest Wine Guide: A Buyer's Handbook." Since then, he has contributed to four other books about Northwest wine, food and travel.

Perdue co-authors a weekly wine column that is syndicated to nearly two dozen newspapers and The Associated Press, and he's a sought-after freelancer and international wine judge. ...more
