Had a few friends come over and we did a table read of this play. There are quite a bit of funny bits and good lines. It's very feminist, with many strong female characters. (We had a really good time with our reading). I'm looking forward to seeing t ...more |

"Dear Anne Rice:
NOT WORTHY. Signed, All Fictional Vampires Who Are Not Lestat This was a re-read for me, but in all honesty, I don't think I was ready for this book the first time I read it. Or at least, I didn't appreciate it for the sheer masterpiece " Read more of this review » |

I hope you read the Identity interview. It's long and you have to read well into it. Dubus talks a lot about being a writer and "teaching" of writing, as well as use of workshops. I think you have a common language. And after reading the New Yorker interview I will be interested in knowing if you have different views of Sand and Fog.
