Back in the saddle … and similar cliches
I’ve been missing in action (cliche 2) for a bit. But I’m back at both writing books (with fingers and toes crossed for publication — cliche 3) and keeping my web pages up-to-date.
First up, I wrote two short stories for a cat-centric book featuring bookstore cats: Squeekie and Annika from Cupboard Maker Books.
Second up, the Bull Rider’s Redemption has been re-issued in a two-book package with the awesome Cathy McDavid as Arizona Country Legacy: The Bull Rider’s Honor.
Third up, I may try something new on the blog featuring my local community theatre … I’m still working on that idea.

#bookqw is really #important
Once a week on Twitter, there is a fun hashtag — #bookqw. That’s Book Quote Wednesday. Most weeks I try to participate with a quote featuring the word that @MindyKlasky provides. For April 12, it was #important. I think this was a fun quote.

4.5 Star Review: Kentucky Cowboy’s Baby
The Long and Short Reviews website gave THE KENTUCKY COWBOY’S BABY 4.5 stars! Woohoo! Here’s what the review said (in part):
“Cowboys and babies, that was what sold me on this one right away.
I loved EllaJayne, who always seems to do a disappearing act. She may be the smallest character in this story but she’s also pivotal. Pepper and AJ both think they’re fighting for the same thing. The Property. In reality what they both want is love, family and belonging. It’ll take a pint sized princess to show them the way.
How they go from fighting with each other to fighting for each other was the highlight of this story for me.
The ending and the climax was great, I wasn’t ready for the story to end.”
